i just graduated in may, and just got my benefits. i think theyre gonna drop me before i get all of this work done so they dont lose too much money. then im going to be completely fucked. my savings will be depleted in no time.

i was just playin soccer last night and hyperextended my knee. at work today i couldnt walk. went to the ortho and he scheduled me for an mri and told me it could be multiple tears because my knee is completely locked up.

if you heard a loud pop, it was your acl. but if it's locked you may have not only also messed up your pcl, but a ligament grouping along the outside of the knee. eep!
my stuff happened in june, surgery in july, and therapy up until last week. and i'm still getting bills. good luck man, good luck. it sucks.

Depending on what you did, the ligaments can either repair themselves or you'll need some grafts to put in their place. Like my ACL exploded, and I chose an allograft.
But all in all, the worst is just how long it takes to get back. You'll most likely have to have surgery and then go through physical therapy (which isn't that bad, but it does either hurt some of the time or make you feel sad lol).

Hah, after surgery I had some really bad bone pain (they have to drill in your bones to put in the ligament), and after like 5 different pain killers they FINALLY gave me some vicodin. I immediately felt amazing lol.
I'd love to have some of that sometimes..

^^^ i work for a corporation called bluegreen, and they are going down the shitter. bluegreen works in conjunction with a real estate corporation that owns houses on the course. when the houses sell, the money goes to the bank, and bluegreen gets a cut to pay for their budget. when the real estate market went to hell bluegreen lost a ton of money and had to lay off employees across the board. luckily im in an upper management position so my job was safe, but now im stuck doing regular labor with everyone including the head superintendent.

^^ it's cause as you get older your ligaments get less pliable I guess.. I never had any issues beyond muscle strain as a kid but as an adult my body gets beat to shit playing soccer. it sucks.

YOU CAN, JUST TAKE IT REALLY EASY (AS IN, GO SLOWLY AND HAVE SOMEBODY THERE TO WATCH OUT FOR YOU). I DON'T SUGGEST DRINKING MUCH AT ALL, BUT YOU CAN PROBABLY DRINK A SIX PACK IN TWO HOURS AND BE JUST FINE MY SON.
