I had a horrible year financially. I had some semi serious health problems (so was out of work) and was laid off.

My income this year is down big time over the last few years.

A lot more important factors than the presidential election will contribute to the depth/end of the "recession" we're in...

I'm actually pretty surprised, given their standing, that both my parents voted almost exclusively Dem this year... they haven't ever done that before.

do you seriously believe Obama will honor his proposed tax plan once he's in office? Clinton didn't stick to his promises of tax breaks for the middle class at all. Not only did he adjust income tax rates to affect people at a lower income level than what he promised during his campaign, but he also hiked up all sorts of other taxes.
