I'm pretty certain 50+% of americans don't even know what libertarians stand for. I'm also pretty certain that there's a chunk of disenfranchised republicans out there with libertarian roots to their political philosophy.

I'm pretty sure you have yet to make a legitimate point against libertarianism.

pragmatism fails every time. to start off with you've got both established parties to fight, after that, youve got to push sane ideas. you dont get votes that way. you get them by promising the most outlandish shit imaginable, and rely on people to take sides. in politics, reality is a unicorn
