How many calories do you currently take in? Do you run a lot?

10lbs total by January 1st maybe/maybe not, but if 1-3lbs of that is muscle that would be an semi realistic goal. It takes weeks for your body to adapt to beginning a new training program, so you might be in position to START making gains by December... and of course you would need to continue the program for month(s) to reach your goal(s).
