My favorite cereal is Cookie Crisp.


Tonight I was standing in Food Dog looking at cereals and I saw Cookie Crisp and below that I saw Food Lion Brand Kookies cereal.

Cookie Crisp: $3.50/box
Kookies: $1.50/box


So I will try this knock-off cereal and see how it compares to Cookie Crisp.

I will report my findings in the morning!

so far so good. nothing noticeable although i anticipated it to be harder to piss (dealing with multiple zipper things to go through) but its pretty much the same. maybe if your hips rotated in a rage you might have some alignment issues.

Ok

So this morning I ate half a bowl of Cookie Crisp alongside half a bowl of Kookies cereal.

That was the last of my Cookie Crisp.

Ok observations: Kookies cereal smells like Hershey's cocoa powder. Kind of off putting first thing in the morning. Cookie Crisp doesn't get soggy right away in milk while Kookies does.

For the price, Kookies cereal is a good deal but for quality, I think I will just pay more for Cookie Crisp.

Ok this morning @ walgreens I was going to get my usual starbucks dark chocolate frappacino drink

But it was $2.99 and the Walgreens's "naturally flavored mocha iced cappucinno" was only $1.29 so I said "ah ha trial and error"

I think they're equivalent, except for the whole soggy-timing thing. FL brand does tend to get soggy faster. But that's a good thing. Forces me to eat faster so I don't waste so much time eating breakfast, thus I can start work earlier

I experienced a trial and error of my own yesterday. I had in the pantry some spinach noodles, organic spaghetti sauce and two cans of tuna so I decided to toss them all together.

Result: Surprisingly not bad. I would have rather used ground chicken and turkey and maybe a hint of cheese but getting three meals out of about $5.00 of materials isn't bad at all.
