I lost it after I went through the cookout drive through. It should have been either in my car or in my apt. Searched all day yesterday, can't find it in either place. Went to cookout, of course they haven't seen it. My guess, I dropped it in my apt. parking lot.

It had a lot of vital things in there. Should I start making phone calls now?

cancel your credit cards

go get a new driver's license

get a new NCSU ID

request a new SS card, if you kept that in there

what other kind of "vital" stuff is in a wallet?

^^^ Well, I thought it was in my apt. or truck, so I didn't think it would be necessary.

store it in a safe

Local PD won't be able to help. Rather, they won't give a shit.

Have you cleaned out your car fully?
I can't tell you how many times I think I have lost my wallet, and it will invariably show up three days later, in some crevice of my car I just know I already checked twice.

Well I had my wallet stolen and t hey charged over 300 at a gas station....I guess their homies needed gas too! Then they got a spicy chicken combo at Wendy's and biggie sized it

You're going to have to file a report with the Police for the bank and all if anything is charged to your card. So go ahead and call them up.

I had my SS card in there because I had to use it for something recently and I forgot to take it out. No charges or attempts have been made on my card yet.

You can just put holds on everything until you find it. If you don't find it call back and have them cancel/reissue.

I'm banking on the fact that the person(s) who may have my wallet are too fucking stupid to realize what a goldmine they might have found...

[Edited on November 11, 2008 at 12:17 PM. Reason : don't know if anyone picked it up yet]

Already stated why it was in my wallet to begin with. I normally don't keep it there.
