On the court or in an election?

Or, how about a game that decides the president of basketball?

Jordan could have destroyed that guy if he wanted. It was still cool to see the old dude makes some lucky lay-ups though. Wayans was funny at the end.

reminds of that game that iverson " schooled" jordan one time to jordans like 10 and all everyone talked about was iverson being better.

The best thing about that game is that you know its killing Michael. I don't care if he didn't try hard...as competitive as he is...it's absolutely eating him up inside that this tiny, old, CEO beat him. And you can say he didn't try, but he tried to block those lay-ups. He was flat-out embarassed...and I bet he wanted to punch Wayans.

Yeah he's not serious...but he still hates to lose. He didn't miss on purpose and he tried to block the guy's shot. He's one of the most competitive people ever and you know that shit bothers him.

Does it bother him right now?? Probably not. But he was not enjoying that 5 minutes right after that game was over.

Yes, I understand that. I am the same way about chess. It infuriates me to lose to matter what.

the Iverson thing was more about the changing of the guard...until then, nobody had ever made Jordan look like an idiot...Jordan was getting older, and he couldn't rely on schooling a bunch of Cliff Robinsons and Byron (Bryon?) Russells, he actually had to deal with some real players

Jordan isn't going to go all out competitive on these guys for several reasons:

1) They pay a lot of money for a once in a lifetime experience

2) MJ's cool guy Image

3) They pay a lot of money for a once in a lifetime experience

4) See 1-3

Lebron is stronger than Jordan

and even though he's like 25 years younger, Lebron looks older than Jordan

course Greg Oden looks older than Greg Popovich

your blind defense of jordan is straight retarded, you dont listen to what anyone else says, all you say is "jordan is the best ever and will always be"

for example you just said someone whose only 23 years old has "already failed"

I'm not blind. I hate UNC and their graduates as much as anyone.

But until someone else wins 3 titles and finals MVPs in a row, take 2 years off to dick around, then win 3 more titles and finals MVPs in a row then Jordan will be the greatest ever. No one has even come close to that except for Shaq who made it half way.

I won't put Lebron in Jordan's category until he wins multiple championships.

you guys are missing the point, lebran will get a ring, but he will not make the cavs a powerhouse like the bulls were. He will leave, to a built up team and win. Be will fail to be like jordan in that jordan knoked out all of the powerhouse teams making his team #1.

IF you want to make a bet I am all ears....

Easy Miss Cleo.

And honestly...if a young Michael Jordan were in the NBA today...he would go through the same thing. Teams didn't wheel and deal back then like they do now.

So it wouldn't be fair to dock points on Lebron's legacy just because he signed with another team. If that happens, you should wait and look at the team that he's on, and then maybe you can compare it to the support that Michael had. And Jordan didn't build that team...the Bulls organization did. Those Bulls teams were pretty fluid. Scottie Pippen was the only mainstay throughout Jordan's tenure (and Phil Jackson of course).

Nothing you are saying is making any sense. Zone defense hurt Lebron because he's not that great of a shooter yet (although teams don't use it on him that much). Man defense for Michael was awesome because he could drive by anybody...just as Lebron can. Arguing that Lebron has it easier because of the zone defense is dumb.

And where did you get "because everything is better now"?? I didn't reference anything like that in my post. I just said the NBA is different now. And I was referencing it to the way free agency works...not that the players are any better. If Jordan were in his prime right now...he'd probably be looking to get out of Cleveland too.

Zone defense is the first thing they teach you to set up if you play in middle school basketball.

Jordan let him score the first two and didn't expect him to get the third point. He sure as hell was trying to throw that third shot off the court.
