usage time... less than 100 hours. I have a laptop i use on a daily basis. I would only use my desktop to watch movies from time to time. It was intended to be my computer for my design classes but I switched majors so.... it doesnt serve a purpose any more

shipping was 30 bucks....

and there were only 2 ever sold for that low ( the other that was sold was for 200 not even including the 30 dollars shiping ). Other people are asking for 215 or 275 not including the 30 bucks to ship it.


This monitor hasnt been used that much. I'll even throw in the DVI cable for the 180 and deliver it to your house.

Honestly, every single one of these prices is at the high end of what I'd consider even plausible. Used computer equipment is simply not worth 70-80% of its current new retail price . . . unless your buyers are idiots who can't do a simple search and see they can buy more powerful current-generation stuff for literally the same price, NEW, with a warranty.

If someone on Craigslist is offering you your asking price on the CPU I'd leap on it . . . they're an idiot. Faster, more powerful ones cost less than your asking price new (on Newegg, no less, that price you linked is because the thing's obsolete and not even stocked). Not to mention they're 45nm, as opposed to 65.

And these were both new in box. Hell, a year ago Newegg had these on sale for $209 with free shipping, which is probably when you got yours. Usage time aside its a year old used LCD monitor, and if you think you're going to get almost 90% of what you paid back you're a tad delusional.

And its pretty clear that the only reason these 2 monitors went for that low was because it was from the same seller who clearly didnt care to lose on the transaction.. because these are new.


I know 180 is a bit steep for a used monitor but im also throwing in the dvi cable and free delivery. Also, the usage on this monitor is very little.

Also, I already have an offer of 140 off craigslist so if no one bids higher than that on here i'll let it go to the craigslist person its that simple.


I appreciate your input though, and hope you place a bid on the other items if the LCD doesnt peak your interest.

a dvi cable does not add any value, its still a used monitor, and nobody sells new in box on ebay at a loss, they sell them after they cash out rebates or get combo deals and want to clean up fast. Thus it sold for 167+ shipping new in box as a steal of a deal, and newegg did have these for 209, other sites have had similar deals.

you can expect MAYBE 50-70% of ebay USED price here for this, on CL you may get a dumb ass who will then be pissy when he expects more than he gets. If you wish to sell ehre, be aware that we are INFORMED folks who ENJOY buyign and selling electronics and get our rocks off keeping folks from being ripped off.
