chopping wood is nice and a good work out. I don't have too many opportunities to do it anymore now that my grandmother is in assisted living. I still get to when we go up to the lake at my buddy's house.

I enjoy sitting outside by a fire probably more than anything in the world.

I was at a school with no electricity so we had to chop wood for the fire to stay warm

it was actually kind of fun and a good workout

we didnt get to use an axe tho...it was a maul and a wedge

we have a 14 foot beech tree trunk that is down. very big! needs to be chopped up.
I have various small trees like dogwoods and redbuds and large pine tree limbs.

btw I hate trees. I have too many.
