You must be one of the fat people that got offended by talking cartoon robots telling them to get off of their ass.

Buy.

Should be an academy award best picture nominee, without a doubt.

Well, if you buy into the movie's message, you should rent it. If you disregard the movie's message, you should buy it.

Seriously, not trying to be a douche this time or anything but some people didn't like this movie because of its liberal bias. So, knowing you, you might want to rent it.

^ historically, conservation has been a conservative trait. The Sierra Club, for example, was formed by a group of conservatives.

i mean i am a conservative person, there is no doubt.

but i think coming off the election everyone has turned into a unc-state like rivalry.

its not like because i support bush that i run around pouring used motor oil in baby eagles nests and dumping my garbage in crabtree creek-though that would be easier than taking it out. hmmm

I'm just sending you a friendly little buyer beware message.

Also, I haven't even seen it, so you should probably disregard anything I say.

People don't like being told that their way of life is wrong. That's why people hate Christians.

A left message doesn't mean it isn't an incredible film. No matter where you are on the political spectrum.

Forrest Gump has some pretty conservative subtext.

Still an enjoyable film.

^ I don't think it's a bad movie at all, it's just not a good compared to the other Pixar movies...

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on one scene, it said that the people got fat from a microgravity environment, but it clearly was not a microgravity environment they were in. I'm sure this was thrown in to be politically correct (otherwise it was a big fuck-you to any fat people watching the movie). The Axiom ship was extremely advanced too, as well as Eve's design, but there was no sigh of this advanced technology in the garbage Wall-E was sweeping up. And why would a spaceship that apparently was self contained be dumping massive amounts of garbage out, when it would likely be recycling that garbage? There are some other things too, but these types of details (ones that wouldn't have altered to plot to get right), Pixar usually gets right.

I also wish they would have explained more what caused Wall-E to have emergent consciousness compared to the other Wall-E robots. I didn't feel like I wasted my time watching the movie, because it was entertaining.

Umm because people were living on the ship on not on the Earth?

Why would the technology on Earth be up to the ship's standards?

Where are you getting that info from

^ uhhh... because the ship was built on earth? And people were living on earth until they boarded the ship? Or do you think all technology was withheld and used exclusively on the space ship?

I heard that today on NPR on Here and Now. She said it could be the first kid's motion picture to win best picture.
