So I missed both study abroad meetings... Has anyone else been in this position and what happened?

I did this. Just tell them you had to work or whatever.

you can only blow off a chick for work so many times, before she just moves along.

I was about to post the obvious joke in this thread, but now I realize that I'm way too late.

Im going to Heidelberg if I can still go. I missed the meetings and it looks like I won't be able to go. The coordinator said someone did this before and wasn't allowed. I had decent excuses though and I wrote a pretty good e-mail to the head lady so we shall see.

t's not very professional to call chicks broads. I would suggest moving this to chit chat.

what kind of excuses? I seriously doubt that if I was studying abroad that I would do anything to jeopardize the chance to go.

You mean the pre-departure meetings, right? Yeah, I didn't go to any of those things. Looking back, they would have been helpful, but I just told the SAO I had to work, but I'm sure anything generic would work. I really just slept through it, lol,

If you're engineering/science look into IAESTE. They have great work abroad programs.
