well, yeah

it creates a curl session that basically tries to log you in to tww

if it succeeds, it lets you upload. if it fails, it doesn't.

it shouldn't affect any of your current logins, though. it didn't for me.

if qntmfred would be willing implement something like oauth on the tww side of things, i'd totally use that instead

unfortunately, this is currently the only way i have of verifying your tww-ness, though.


also, this is the exact same code i used to verify people for the EUPHALO boards (the "tww verified" status) - ask any of the people that did this, nothing happened to their tww accounts.

it's not just the question of whether YOU are trustworthy. it's just a bad idea to encourage people to be of the mindset that it's ok to do this EVER.
