I have two young cats, one just over a year and one 6 months old, and we just got a new 9 month old puppy today from the SPCA. I was wondering if there is anything in particular that we should do that will help get the cats acclimated to living with the new member of the family. The first impression involved some hissing, furry tails, and a few swipes of the kitten's paw. The cats are very friendly with people and with each other, so I'm hoping it's just a matter of time until they become friendly with the dog. Any suggestions to help the process would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
