Like new people, or new girls or guys that you just met for example. I feel kind paranoid in a way, I know that sounds strange but I have nothing to hide, but I just don't know what it is LOL.

i don't like letting people from the apt office in...or the maintenance guys.

i don't care about letting in new friends, new girls/guys. neighbors are on a case-by-case basis.

^^ I have like 3 friends, and one lives back home, one is in vet school overseas, and the other I never see. But I do meet a new chick ever now and then. Weird.

I'll be honest with you. That's a natural reaction (to feel awkward about new faces in your apartment). But until you get truly comfortable with it and it's your job to put people at ease when they come to your place (girls especially), people are gonna pick up on your weird vibe and be uncomfortable. I'm not being a dick, it's the truth.

I was fine with it when I lived alone because I kept my apartment clean.

my condo is just a one bedroom so it is kind of small. and at school i like to keep my personal space and school separate (i'm weird) so i usually try to hang out with peple outside in the courtyard (they can come into pee and stuff) or just say let's meet at a bar or something. i also don't have a lot of seating (bc it is small) so if more than like 3 people came over it could get awkward.

i don't have any friends

but my roommate occasionally has a sketchy friend from work over

and i'm like "plz to not touch my dvds.

or books.

or records.

or stereo."

My apt that I'm in the process of moving out of is the party spot now

Two bedroom with a huge living room and seperate den, two floors, basically just a lot of space to hang out

I can have 15-20 people no problem

But I'm downsizing to a 1 BR so it will probably cut the capacity to 8-10 sitting comfortably

What I'm really dreading is the three weeks or I'm going to have to live with my parents in the gap between my old lease expiring and my new one not starting yet

this is also why i don't have a roommate.

i'm an extrovert i swear. though it doesn't seem like it. what with my lack of friends and being alone all the time.

I think not having friends is the number one reason one feels paranoid. Damn we suck.

it disgusts me to think about really.

You have to keep a calm, assertive energy.

I had a dog for a while but kept taking mad dooks all over the rug, then stepping in it and tracking it all over the apartment

So I gave him to my friend and she says he hasn't crapped inside one time

wtf

If I know they are coming then whatever just gives me a reason to actually clean up, people just dropping in though is kinda meh. I also keep almost everything I have in my own bedroom so any roommates friends are gonna have to break in and kill me to get my shit.

my cat is cool i'm just saying. sometimes she's a little needy.

but living alone is cool. i don't know if it was a good move. but it seemed like a good move. to buy a condo instead of just paying rent. i mean the value on it has already gone up. but i'm not going to live there after school so it is kind of a short term investment. i suppose i could always rent it out. it just seemed like a better use of $700 a month for a mortgage payment to hopefully earn something back w/ the increase in value then piddling away MORE money on rent. because that is all i've been doing for the past 4 years.

My joint stays clean for the most part. Anyway, my next personals ad will read - Seeking girl with no friends, and is not crazy. I know, that'd be like find an oyster pearl out on the brickyard, but its possible!
