Good idea for a thread, I need help too.

Alright here is what I've got in mind for my family so far:

Dad (mid 50s) - Car GPS
Step-mum (mid 50s) - Cappuccino maker
Nephew (3) - I'm sure I can find something at Toys R Us, kids are easy to shop for

Sister (12) - No idea. I got her an iTunes gift card for her bday and she loved it but I don't wanna get her the same thing for Christmas. She's a typical pre-teen girl but I don't really know what typical pre-teen girls are into these days so if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Brother (28) - Also no idea. He's got a kid (the aforementioned 3 yr old nephew). He likes drinking and partying and crap but since he's had his kid he's started to settle down a bit. He likes practical gifts that he can use so all I can really think of is like a gift card to a steakhouse or something.

what about for the 12 yo sister a gift certificate to a clothing store? do preteens still like abercrombie/abercrombie kids? or there are some nonchain kids clothing stores in raleigh--maybe one of those. or like a gift certificate to a movie theatre? do kids still go to the movies a lot with their friends??

and for your 28 yo brother i think stuff for the house will probably be good. you could get him nice bar stuff--i mean he is settling down but that could still be a nice gift. they always have really cool glasses and stuff ate crate and barrel. or other stuff for the house that he might like. knives. grillin stuff.

I need a good gift idea that's kinda meaningful for the bf that is also under $30. b/c i already spent a lot for flying out to see him. I bought him a nice camera for his birthday and a really exp. surround sound system for him last year, but this year i didn't work so don't have a whole lot of cash. The watch he wants will have to wait....

30 dollars? Really?

I'd say your best bet is going to the grocery store and getting some beer. You give him the beer, and you put the bag that it came in over your head (paper or plastic, either one is a win).

What can I get for my mom that will shut up the dogs that live in the yard behind ours?

Also, I want to get a wireless router for the DSL at my parents house...dunno if that's possible

Ahhh, there we go, your signature move. You do know that my appearance has nothing to do with yours, right? Me being fat is old news girl, everyone on this site knows that. And you don't have to buy him beer. It really doesn't matter, as long as the end result is a bag over your dome. You clearly missed the point of that.

Either that or some earmuffs. I'd imagine he'd appreciate those.

That are from 3 years ago, before I realized you were busted and had admittedly low standards? Go ahead. That does make you less of a stupid cunt, or suddenly more attractive.

Hey everyone, I spit e-game at GoldenGirl on myspace a few years ago.

haha no you became very bitter after I stopped responding to you. and haha i look the same as i did three years ago so if you claiming you didn't realize how busted I was is a joke. you are a classic case of a guy getting shut down and turning into an ass. plus this thread was serious before you had to make idiotic comments. that and you post stalk me now as well. so get off your high horse and get on a treadmill. it would do you some good.

You are a classic case of a mediocre-at-best girl having too much of an ego after spending too much time on internet message boards. And perhaps you missed the part where I said I had "admittedly low standards" at the time, hence the half-assed e-game directed at you.

Also, the treadmill would do me a lot? Past instance of low standards and poor judgment aside, I don't think I'd want to do a treadmill, especially not a lot.

No I'm a classic case of I'll call you out for being a retard and acting all e-cool esp. when its a load of bullshit. you aren't the only twwer who has spit game and then turned into an ass when i get creeped out and stop talking to you.

I call it like I see It and I call bullshit when I see it. So your attempt in trying to insult me results in me calling your bullshit and posting your pms and your pictures.

What you want to play and don't want to get burned now?!

Wow, you really are a vapid cunt. This is like arguing with one of the sexually active 15 year old girls on Maury, and I refuse to continue. I apologize, to all of TWW, for starting this.

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone.

i have to think of what to get for people.

hmm.

my mom will probably get a coldwater creek gift certificate OR some food network type shit. not any cookbooks because i did that last year. maybe movie theatre gift certificates or a gift certificate to a restaurant like fins or something. i usually do each parent separate, then give one gift together (like the restaurant gift certificate)

dad is really hard to think about. clothes...maybe. i would like to get him a wii but my brother is poor and i am poor so that will never work....unless we go in with my mom. hmmm.

brother (20) - no idea. he doesn't have a video game system right now, so video games are out this year. i guess gift certificate but UGH i hate those so much.

and i can't even put together a decent list of what i want for my parents. they keep asking and i SERIOUSLY don't know.

and boyfriend i have no clue. i want to go to williamsburg to look at the decorations (for the day) and i was going to pay for that but that is only like $30 and he doesn't even want that anyways so i hate to make that part of the present. i don't know what to get him. maybe a video game. i wish i could get us a trip somewhere...maybe i can.
