GAH. This crazy lady... Background: I run a web development business on the side, just to make a little pocket money while finishing up school. So this lady, Joyce Belle, goodstoryadaysystem.com, wanted me to take her website and turn it into a store - in flash, complete with videos - sound (that she wanted to record in the studio) - and a truckload of other crap... BEFORE THANKSGIVING (she called sunday.)I then, as usual, draw (hand, then scan) a proposal for her. She doesn't like it, wants more color & more design work.Ok, so I stay up late and create a whole new proposal - took me ~3 hours. The whole thing was a huge flower, animation, the works. Didn't like it either, was too much $ she said. So I created a third proposal, again - all for free, burning up my expensive time (I have an early final this afternoon.)SO I sent the latest proposal over yesterday morning expecting to hear back pretty quickly, since the turkey day deadline and all. Nothing. So I call just a few minutes ago. She's hired a girl who said she would do it for $100. My first thought was "YOU JERK" after all the work I've put in to please your finicky tastes. Then I started wondering who in the world would take the time to do security, a php user system (so she has their emails and stuff), and an automated order fulfillment system that interfaces with PayPal (not to forget industry standards, ADA compliance, cross-browser support) for freaking $100.Oh well, I feel better now, thx for listening/reading.</blog>

Ha, $100 bucks is web dev doesn't go far for shopping carts and online stores and shit. This lady is stupid, but she will get what she pays for when this so-called web dev she hired for a 100 bucks steals all of her customers cc #s and splurge.
