So I was assisting my sister in buying her daugher a Wii and also picking up peripherals for it she picked up the rubber remote cover for the controllers and ask if she should get them. I said 'No! I'll buy them!' And they were like 5 bucks a piece online! 5 dolla xmas presents FTW.

I usually just buy people things off of unspent gift certificates I've been given in the past.

Or, for the music/movie/pc-gaming fan in the family, piracy is totally free and makes a great gift.

It's http://www.dealextreme.com/

And if you use that, order it now, because it will take over 2 weeks to get here.

Step 1: Don't buy any presents.
Step 2: Watch and laugh when they give you a present expecting something in return.
Step 3: Profit.

1. Buy presents for the people at the initial present giving party.
2. Re-gift whatever you receive. Hang onto the last presents until next year.
3. The re-gifting cycle can continue without any additional expenditures.
4. ...Save?
