The battery in my wife's Dell 5150 laptop is at the end of its life. It's given us four good years, but it only lasts about half an hour at this point.
I would like to get a replacement battery. Dell want $165 for one and I think that's fucking ridiculous. I'm hoping that you guys can point to a place to get batteries that are decently priced and, more importantly, well constructed. I've had too many friends by cheap, Chinese made batteries that heat to scalding temperatures when under load and only last two months. I'm willing to pay a little more money for something that doesn't suck. 11/30/2008 11:28:02 PM |

I have ordered from this place before and got some hella nice deals. Here is the link for yours:
Dell Replacement Battery $63.99 + Free S&H.
http://www.westcoastpower.net/de9xrebaforl.html
You can also get them on eBay for $44.99 with Free Shipping. Main difference is going to be eBay deal only gets you a 180 warranty, where as the other site gives you 30 return and 1 year warranty. Depends on what you're looking for.
