anyone who gets sick on fountain food is simply a lightweight

the food, for what it was, was generally pretty good and they offered a lot of options...i never once got sick there...since i'm on campus most of the time these days, i'll eat there a couple of times per year and i love it

One night about a year ago I knew I'd be working late on a project, and I was extremely hungry so I figured I'd take advantage of the endless plenty and go to Fountain for dinner. I'd been living off campus so I hadn't been there in a while.

I paid my six fifty and carried my tray to the hot line. To my delight, I saw that they were serving one of my favorite dishes! A fine meal that I remembered fondly from my days as a whippersnapper in Bragaw. "Baked Ziti!" I exclaimed with joy. "That's my favorite!"

The statement was directed at the employee behind the counter. Unfortunately the gentleman either didn't know I was talking to him or chose to ignore me. So nobody responded to my outburst of affection. It made me look like I'd lost my marbles. A fellow behind me in line half smiled at me and asked, "Are you a freshman?"

"No," I said.
