I had this problem and then some when I had Salmonila.
Mine lasted three weeks, and I almost wouldn't even wish it on my worst enemies.
About 6 days from the end (retrospect), I finally went to the ER and had 3 liters of fluid put back into me via IV.

At least you're not also shitting. Although that's probably on it's way. It's the worst when you're puking your guts out and shitting the hardest flow of diarrhea ever known to man at the same time. Feels like the center of your stomach is going to compress down enough to form a black hole.

I had something like this. I don't have the anti-vomiting pills anymore that I got when my suitemates dragged me to the student health center, but the nurse suggested I drink ginger ale.

When y'all had Norovirus was there ever a point where you wished you were a small child or elderly so that you would just die and get it over with?

The worst part for me was when I had a spray of crap so horrendous that tubgirl would be proud and as soon as the spray stopped I had to turn and drop to my knees to start throwing up into the shit filled toilet. Absolutely awful. I remember spending hours laying in discomfort on one side because rolling to my back or the other side would induce a good 2-3 rounds of vomiting.

This is a good summary of my experience with it as well. I had to make a tampon out of toilet paper to stick between my butt cheeks so when I got to sleep for 2-3 hours I wouldn't shit myself. I think I got an anal fissure from shitting so much too. I won't tell anyone why I think so. But I would drink a bottle of Gatorade or something and then have to shit the liquid out about an hour later. It was the worst illness I've ever had in my life.

yea i got to the shitting part about 7 pm

its actually a little better now, i can drink stuff and keep it down so im no longer throwing up

i still feel like i need to be careful though, i wish i had enough food and stuff here to suit me

its been grits and crackers all afternoon

might make a gatorade trip later

this is where the toilet and shower being next to eachother saved me. sit half-sideways on the toilet and just projectile vomit into the shower with it running. only did this after it became all liquid puke.

My parents got it first and then at work one day I just felt something in my stomache and said I have to go, got home and not 2 minutes later it's like niagra falls coming out both ends.
