yeh, it's bullshit that the eval closes before exams. the final exam could have some weight on my eval.

since when is it online anyway? back in my day we filled the evaluations out on the last day of class IN CLASS.

that's what prompted this thread... they are pretty much admitting to the fact that they keep sending out multiple emails to annoy people into filling out their stupid survey. sounds like spam to me.

That's some bad planning on the school's part I think. We always had the paper evaluation during the last week. I guess all this does is give us an extra weekend at the most since it's due by the 8th. Might as well take advantage of the internet and let it be due at midnight on the last day of exams.

If they want people to really do them they need to have teh system set up like this:

Class ends.
You take your final exam.
Withing completing your final exam you have 2 days to do your class eval online.
You either fill out the class eval or you don't.
If you filled it out you get your grades back much faster, if you didn't, your grades don't get released until much later.

^^yeh. I should have said something about that. I know the paper exams were during deadweek, which was ok, seeing as how it would be hard to get evals after exams (unless you made them fill them out during exams).

but with the evals online, there is no reason why they couldn't be open for much longer.

I've made is very complaint via email to the class eval folks. It's been more than a year and I'm still waiting for a reply.

We have a separate department one for the class i TA for, and make our ppl do it right after the exam, before they leave.

I made sure to leave one for my class that has 8 students in it and I'm still missing homework and exam grades from September and dont have a clue of what my grade is going to look like - fucking TAs

i would suspect you aren`t in any danger as long as you are keeping up with the material


every class with less than 10 students that i have taken, practically everyone got an A regardless of exam grades
