Some time between 1am-3am Saturday (12/6/08) the rear windshield of my silver Honda Accord got smashed. It looks like someone threw something at it. If you were in the Univeristy Woods parking lot around this time please let me know. Definitely a reward if we can find the person who did it.

When something happens to your car, you don't care about rationa thought....you just want something to be done. Good luck. I hope you can figure out something.

My driver's side mirror was taken off at a party and I was so upset I couldn't figure out who did it. Turns out, a year later, my friends wrote my an IOU because THEY broke it off and were too scared to tell me because they had just met me that night. Still pretty crappy, but you know.

Yeah, they are still my friends. What they did was shitty but we were broke at the time and they were drunk so I can understand...although I would never do that.

They did end up paying me back and I forgave them.

You should still report it and then give the insurance company (assuming you have other than collision coverage) the case number, that way if anything does ever come up with it, the insurance company will try, emphasis on try, to get their money and your deductible (if you have one) back.

I had a rear glass and a driver-side window busted out of my old car (in Winston though) and went through this. They ended up catching the kids that done it, because they went through the neighborhood busting the glass out of 50 other cars. Ended up being a slingshot/ball bearing, which is apparently really good at busting car glass and also a type of gang initiation bullshit.

I saw this car.
If it makes you feel better, multiple people had reported that it happened. The problem was that no one has any idea about when or why.
Do you know why there were all the broken plates on the ground?

I saw those plates as well. I think someone threw a plate and it hit my car which caused the break. I found a piece of the plate on top of my car....Thanks for reporting it. that helps


Also I am definitely not trying to find the person who did it so I can "handle it myself". Im pretty sure it was just someone drunk who was just trying to have some fun. The only reason Im looking for help is so I can get that person to pay for the replacement, obviously small chance here but its worth a shot
