For reasons I do not want to disclose I'm now in the market for an outer hub assy and lug nut cover

I've seen tons of aftermarket manual locking hubs by warn, etc. Does anybody make an auto locking hub? I have a jeep for being rugged, I want my truck to go into 4wd when I hit the switch without having to get outside to lock the hubs. I have a feeling the warn hubs are going to be the same price as a single auto hub from the dealership so I might just have to go with the manual ones if I don't have any other options

What to do?

One of my biggest reasons for not wanting manual hubs now that I think about it is actually regular pavement driving. Sometimes to get out onto a main road on the way to work I have to really get on it in order to get out in front of someone. Thanks to my chip as soon as the turbo hits if im at full throttle the rear end will kick out pretty bad and of course smokes more than I want to. Every now and then i'll pop it in 4wd to make it easier to launch.

get the warns and don't look back. those hubs snap if you look at them wrong. i would have a set on mine, except that mine is a dually so they won't work (they do work on some dually's though). i'm on my second set of stockers, and all my truck sees is a muddy job site or snow every once in a blue moon.

also, don't forget that if you really get stuck, you'll be getting out to lock those stock hubs anyway. the auto feature needs a full wheel revolution and sometimes more to engage. if i get this excursion i'm looking at to replace my suburban, a pair of warn premiums be one of the first things i do to it.

Hopefully I'll never be in that kind of situation. The only time I'd be offroad that would require 4wd would be on a washed out road while towing the jeep. I'm going to hit a little known pull a part in rock hill and if I come up empty i'll have to fork out the money to get the warns. This sucks because I just shelled out a couple hundred on this balljoint job. I need to pay taxes and registration on the truck this month which is going to be about 300 bucks. I guess I might not be buying a gun before boot camp like i'd planned on

i ran warns on 60's and toys and never had a problem. i did have issues with the asin's.

i've never hurt an aisin of any variety mitsu/toy/zu. well, i did shear some studs on the po runner one time but that was my own fault for rigging the hardware/cone washers.

i have blown up superwinches, warns, and selectos though. i think i'm going to run drive flanges on the ram's 60. prolly some homemade/turned down 35 spline spiders when i upgrade to d70 outers.
