Time warner keeps saying this free hd to digital cable subscribers. We've had digital cable w/o DVR for over a year can we get a free upgrade? Help a brother out TWW.

when I switched, I just had to go to TWC and trade in my cablebox for an HD cablebox

then all the HD channels came in that are included with your package

its not technically free, because you have to pay a monthly fee for the HD dvr (assuming you want DVR)

and it seems like i remember it being illegal to charge more for HD service. it's kinda like cell phone companies telling you they'll let you keep your old number from a different carrier for free, when law requires that they make this an option for free.

Fuck TWC. Our cable fucks up all the time. I recommend going with someone else or nothing at all.

talk to supervisor.

tell them im going to cancel my service. them im going to call back in 5 mins to reconnect my service maybe. ask them to look and see how long you have been with them(only if like 3 or more years) tell them that you are (were) were pleased with service. bitch will tell you thats not necissary and will give it to you for free
