...a picky eater?A female writer says:
12/14/2008 9:43:23 PM
bahaha. i guess this is why DNL thinks vegetarians are turn-offs...
12/14/2008 9:44:12 PM
i really don't care. i'd still bwn
12/14/2008 9:44:26 PM
i could care less as long as she's suckin' at the end of the night
12/14/2008 9:44:47 PM
it can be frustrating but hardly a deal breaker
12/14/2008 9:44:50 PM
12/14/2008 9:46:00 PM
ha ok this actually pisses me off because i was raised to be opportunistic and take what i get and be thankful and i both agree with and live that philosophyso i mean i put up with it, but im put off by it tremendouslythats why i have a severe dislike for so-called dining connoisseurs on here and people who wont eat at a place if it has less than a 97 ratingits not cuz it makes me feel like they are high maintenance, i just simply dislike that attitude
12/14/2008 9:46:13 PM
12/14/2008 9:46:29 PM
as long as she doesn't order a $20 meal and only take 3 bites, I can deal with it
12/14/2008 9:46:52 PM
It's very annoying when you go to a restaraunt, and she can't find anything on the menu except a house salad. And then, even with the salad, it's always "light dressing on the side, no cheese, whole wheat croutons"yes - men like it when women are able to eat and drink just like they do. Not that every man is a stereotypical red-meat fanatic, but it really is easier when women can eat burgers and fries, or don't mind getting wings occasionally, or are willing to try middle eastern or Indian food, etc
12/14/2008 9:46:54 PM
hahahah...I use on the side a lot when I am ordering stuff. I have often been compared to Sally...When Harry Met Sally
12/14/2008 9:46:58 PM
i dont care bout vegetarians either way, there are many reasons to be vegetarians and only a few of those reasons are bullshit to mei just hate outspokeness about it
12/14/2008 9:47:38 PM
i think it's a turn-off when anyone is a picky eater
12/14/2008 9:47:40 PM
it can be really frustrating when you are living with someone. I hate the inconvenience of always trying to pander to a gf's finicky tastes - especially when I'm the one that always cooks.
12/14/2008 9:48:07 PM
12/14/2008 9:48:25 PM
if the food comes out slightly wrong but isn't completely ruined and still manageable and a hissy fit is started because things were not fixed as ordered...that's really annoying and a complete turn-off
12/14/2008 9:49:15 PM
its hard to enjoy a date when you feel like some girl is sittin there pickin at a salad wishin she were somewhere elsethat part of it is annoying also
12/14/2008 9:49:24 PM
^x4 my ex was always really good at finding meals we could both eat. Pizzas, pastas, sandwiches...it's not really that different. I don't even eat tofu or anything "weird". [Edited on December 14, 2008 at 9:50 PM. Reason : a]

once we were at a restaurant and i ordered something and ended up not liking it. i asked for a box so i could take it home and the bf could eat it and ordered something else instead. i didn't make a big deal out of it but everyone else did, like i was being such a bitch because i wouldn't eat it. that pissed me off
12/14/2008 9:51:00 PM
^^im sure your tastes are reflected in everyone that he may be talking about[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 9:51 PM. Reason : f]

I am currently on a high protein low carb diet so I guess I could be viewed as a picky eater. If it were up to me, I would just go to Golden Corral every night and eat as much meat from the buffet that I can stuff in my face. Chicks tend to not be into that.
12/14/2008 9:52:25 PM
If a person is picky and they like you that should be taken as a compliment.
12/14/2008 9:52:35 PM
twoozles, i think that's a good move. i mean, you could have complained and asked for the manager and then refused to tip the server....that would merit you being called a bitch. but i think you handled that situation well and ^ is a neat way of thinking.[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 9:54 PM. I didn't think I'd mind this...until I dated this one girl that was a picky eaterthat shit was annoying to see her pick through every meal for the things that she actually wanted to eat...she wasn't stingy in the bedroom, but....goddamn, I would take her to a nice restaurant....and she would order a caesar salad....and then pick out every piece of chicken and tomato....and leave everything else....looking at me with a pissed off lookfuck that ho
12/14/2008 9:53:11 PM
^^^^ha ive come to accept that girls dont like buffetsor brazilian steakhouses...thats okim sure EMCE feels me, haha i hate pickingand they get mad if you finish the plate off for em[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 9:54 PM. Reason : d]

unadventurous eaters are an incredible turn offit just seems so childish
12/14/2008 9:55:51 PM
12/14/2008 9:56:29 PM
Yes.It certainly does mean you're high-maintenance, male or female
12/14/2008 9:57:44 PM
12/14/2008 9:57:58 PM
being picky is not a turnoff... hell, i date a vegan and its however people who arent open minded to try new things, that is a definite turnoff.
12/14/2008 10:00:02 PM
on an unrelated note... I was at a bar last night and there was a girl at a table next to me that licked her fingers every time she took a bite of her burger or fries. And i mean down to the second and third knuckles, full on tongue action.
12/14/2008 10:01:43 PM
now thats a woman that interests meshe enjoys her foodi also hate when women "eat " chicken wings and leave a plate full of "dumbbells"[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 10:03 PM. Reason : d]

i went to dinner last night and one of my friends seriously killed like 3 trees with the amount of napkins she used. we were eating pizza @ mellow mushroom, and she didn't use a fork/knife, and so she'd wipe her hands and mouth ONCE per napkin. The waitress had to come by THREE TIMES to remove the pile of napkins that was starting to take over our table... i would think something like that is more of a turn-off.
12/14/2008 10:04:19 PM
ha...i use alot of napkins when i eati cant say anything bout that one
12/14/2008 10:05:24 PM
To OP: YES.

yeah, I always have to "finish" chicks' chicken wings when we get them. They leave all kinds of meat on that shit. When you eat wings you better just leave bones.
