I just got this as a gift....no receipt. is it worth keeping, should i see if the person has a receipt or should i just try to return it at walmart without a receipt?http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10087452

wouldn't it sound bad if you asked for the receipt?

do you have any young relatives you plan to buy gifts for?if so, there is a solution.[Edited on December 15, 2008 at 12:27 PM. Reason : it actually looks halfway fun]

that should be an insta-returnless than $50 doesn't even come close to needing a recipt at walmart, right?

i got it from a relative, so i am sure that would be figured out.as for sounding bad...ill just tell them i already have a gaming system that does this.

Looking online I am seeing lots of different stories on returning stuff to Walmart without a receipt...what are some of your stories?

They'll take it bake 99% of the time and you'll get a gift card. I've returned gifts to walmart that I didn't even know where they came from. (I saw them in the store first though, so I knew that they did carry it).

they'll most likely take it back, but you'll just get a gift card

ungrateful bastard.j/k. ask for a receipt and tell that family member that if they buy you this cheap walmart knock off shit again, that you will snap their fucking dick off. Tell them to have a merry christmas, too. [Edited on December 15, 2008 at 12:52 PM. Reason : f]
