i dunno. i've watched the show, and i've been on both sides of the fence.

even without seeing it happen, the stories you get in person are 10 times better than anything A&E can produce

(and A&E does a great job with production)

I wish they would focus more on the addiction and the destruction of everyone around them instead of trying to focus on past experiences that they blame for why they abuse drugs.

Otherwise, it's a good show. I've enjoyed seeing the followup issues.

I like that part. I prefer that we understand what drove someone to take a drug. It doesn't excuse it, but it gives the addict a persona beyond the "terrible drug addict" most people see them as.
