am i the only one who's slowly rubbing a hole into floor boards under my right heel? i'm ab halfway through my factory floor mat. any products or tips so i don't drill through the carpet w. my heel?

My cherokee's floor mats are getting worn through in this way. I just pivot my foot about the heel to switch between the gas and the brake pedal, so my laziness has cost me a mint pair of OEM floor mats, lol.

My tip would be this: Pick up your foot and keep it off the carpet while driving. You'll do that before a minute before you realize why you wore a hole in the floor mat to begin with.

my blazer had a badly worn spot on the floormat when i got it. it was worn all the way through by the time i got rid of it.

[Edited on December 18, 2008 at 11:33 PM. Reason : i got a set of those heavy rubber floor mats they sell at sam's now. i like them]
