right of way is a hard concept to grasp for nc drivers

i live right off of walnut street.at the dip right past cookout (if you are going toward the mall) an accident happened while they were sorting out another one in the parking lot across the street.these accidents happened in the exact same spot...the cars were just moved to help the flow of traffic.in this particular spot i've seen at least 12-13 wrecks since ive lived here (a hair over a year)it's insane.they finally stuck a police car in the middle turning lane with blue lights on.made everyone FINALLY slow down.people are stupid.

I thought you had to pass a test about these dumb laws to get a licence
12/20/2008 6:33:51 PM
because passing a test means you know something see: a good number of high school (or college for that matter) graduates

I've seen more near-misses at the cookout off of Walnut Street because people are too stupid to realize they don't have right-of-way to make a U-turn in front of people.
12/20/2008 6:46:26 PM
shouldn't it be near-hits?[Edited on December 20, 2008 at 6:48 PM. Reason : a]

^ha^^he speaks the truth. walnut street between maynard and 440 is a breeding ground for fender benders
12/20/2008 6:49:52 PM
I don't know why it's called a near-miss. Near-collision would sound more logical.
