Well there are some spot welded brackets in my truck that I want to remove properly so they can be reinstalled in another truck, so I think I need some sorta special drill bit. Any reccomendations? I have remember reading about some type of device for this on here in the past but can not locate anything via the search. 12/22/2008 3:07:42 PM |

no need for a "special" bit really.. just get a 1/8bit for a starter hole and 3/8bit for the spot weld (unless its another size).
is what we used at the shop. aint that cheap.
but its a 1-2 hit instead of swapping bits.
and is this the device?
again, we've used that at work... but honestly a normal drill is just as good. the one we had actually broke and we never bothered to fix it... im talkin broke within minutes of use
