still puts them at like 20% over what you can find the same deals on the internet for with free shipping... I'll wait a few weeks and see how much they come down. I went today however... It was a mad house... People buying laptops to save $60 bucks.... come on.

Nah, it's false advertising. It's 10%, as mentioned above. Even in bankruptcy they can't be trusted.

The big sales will come in March.

hahah...I went to then left after about 5 minutes. 10% off is nothing. The Blu-Rays weren't on sale either.

An FYI, Linen 'n Things stopped taking their gift cards when they went into liquidation mode. If you have not already sold or spent it, I would do it soon.

Watch this.

Liquidation sales are for fucking suckers. It's all complete bullshit and it just shows how fucking stupid the American people are."

Holy shit.

How is this not illegal???

As for the cutomers, it is pure psychology and deception at play, which fools people into buying the stuff.

I went to the one near Crossroads in Cary last night. It was a madhouse... And for what reason I don't know because there weren't any good sales. 20% off cds and dvds. And after that you're still paying well over what it'd cost you at Walmart or something. I say find out how long they are honoring the gift cards and wait it out til the very end. Thus far there aren't any sales worth rushing over there for.

same story at circuit city off glenwood last night. Long lines, lots of people, but nothing that couldn't have been obtained online at about 25% less

people are idiots, if you sell stuff for x amount they wont buy it but if you put something like buy 2 for 3x and get one free they go crazy

[Edited on January 18, 2009 at 5:54 PM. Reason : grocery stores do this a lot]

These sales suck. Sharper Image, LNT, Goody's, CC. They jack up prices and then discount them. You can get way better deals on Amazon with free shipping.

Someone needs to make a "Liquidation Store" that is always selling shit like this. Like in Zohan.
