Get one of those rubber things (I'm sure they still make them)...and you'll be good to go.

it's a shame they don't make a tool specifically for the opening of cans

[Edited on January 3, 2009 at 3:40 PM. Reason : a can contents liberator, if you would]

^ True, but those automatic openers that you just hook on and it opens the can itself without having to turn or hold anything are pretty bad ass.

is it a jar?

turn it upside down, and beat the bottom with the palm of your hand

or take a butter knife, and tap around the lid

I'd ask Stone Cold. He mastered opening a can in the late 90's.

^^ & ^^^ Yeah, it's SOOOOOO SOOOOOO good. Mix that shit together and it's a lil' spicy. I even put onions and crushed red pepper in the beef as I browned it. FTMFW!

easy solution.

place a rubber band around the top and turn.

if that doesn't work. tap it on a counter a few times at different points.

if that doesn't work. get a man to open it.
