Maryland, as of a report in 2007, has the highest household annual income of any state. It is not a shit hole by any means.

Some places in Maryland are nice... some not so nice.

3 of those top 100 cities come out of Montgomery County... as well as those 3 wealthiest zip codes... Montgomery County is a nice place... Rockville, Gaithersburg, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Germantown... and especially Potomac... Those homes put most in Cary to shame.

Baltimore is a shit hole everywhere outside the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards. PG County... including College Park is also nasty.
