seems like it'd be fine til you had people over, then it'd depend on how you had the space arranged

i live in a studio, it's a pretty decent size -- 575 square feet -- so i don't feel cramped at all.it's nice to wear whatever the hell you want and do whatever the hell you want, when you want, at all times. the price is a little steep - $600/mo - but worth it for no distractions, being in grad school and all.

I'm looking to rent a studio in Wilmington in a few months. I don't want to have to pay to furnish both a living room and bedroom, plus it'll be cheaper. anyone know of where I can get a good one in Wilmington? Walking distance to UNCW would be a bonus.
1/4/2009 10:37:00 PM
oh i'll give you a studio
1/4/2009 10:37:33 PM
Living in a studio apartment like one pictured, you'd be limited with what you can cook.I mean, you don't want to stink up the whole place or your sheets or anything for that matter.Don't know if I'd like that.
1/4/2009 11:09:13 PM
i dont live in a studio but my one grip of the condo i have is that when i have a party or people over, they have to walk through my bedroom to get to the pisser
1/4/2009 11:11:16 PM
Once I get a new job (soon I hope) I'll be lookig for a new place in DC too. Studios are awesome if you don't need a ton if space. I'm surprised your seeing them for as cheap as $850. Most of the ones that I've been seeing that are decent are closer to a grand.
1/4/2009 11:15:50 PM
im not looking actually within the DC limits, but more southwest in Huntington and Alexandria
1/5/2009 6:38:25 AM
I never understood why people live in them outside of a major city....
