I deifnitely wouldn't choose to go somewhere else presonally. The degree from here got me a job that wouldnt be any better with the same degree from somewhere else and more importantly I really doubt I would have made as close of a group of friends somewhere else. I was born in NY and all my family lives there besides my parents and sister, lived in charlotte for 17 years, and I have lived in SC for about 2 years now after graduating but I still feel most at home in Raleigh.

I think a lot of it has to do with music and the band being based out of raleigh, but whatever it is something just clicked for me there and I really miss living there.

my only regret about college was not studying abroad

thats all i would have done different

college was fun and all but for me, the real world is way more fun. i prefer funding my hobbies and travel habit over tests, class, beer & pizza

i end up with about 30 days off work (holidays, vacation, holiday shut down) a year and i have a flexible work schedule, it beats the living shit out of college

I would...
- Go somewhere else. Probably UNCW for an inferior education with more friendly hot chicks and a beach nearby.
- Work less, play more. Who cares if you're poor in college? There is no reason to get caught up trying to own nice shit when you only work 4 months per year. I'd buy a car with a great efficiency/reliability/price combo and leave it bone stock. You'll remember road trips with your friends far more than your car's stereo when it's all said and done.
- Do better in school. I wasted plenty of time that could have gone towards making me a better student.
- Take a P.E. every semester to stay in shape and learn fun new things. I'd probably take a lot more classes for no reason other than personal enrichment now that I think of it.

5. Sit at home and study instead of party
6. Workout for 2 hours a day
7. Wreck the PCAT, get a high GPA, get into med school.

It's unfortunate I figured out what I wanted to do so late in life. Now my GPA won't hold up to any med school admission criteria.
