Hey RonnyIt's fake, manFake news
1/6/2009 6:25:05 PM
^^Actually vinyl still outperforms all known digital formats in terms of depth and clarity. There's no digital compression involved, straight analog baby. (Before you bring your 'but but it's a lossless format' in here do some research about how to record digitally.)However it's $Texas to join the party.

But you decided to try and call me out on it after I realized it was fake and made an appropriate edit.

OK, if that makes you feel better about being tricked by a fake news story, then that's what happened.
1/6/2009 6:36:54 PM
unless you're playing freshly pressed vinyl in a clean room, 96KHz/24bit FLAC is indeed the win
1/6/2009 6:37:34 PM
^^That is what happened. ^I like vinyl, but only because it is tangible. That, and it makes me better than others.
1/6/2009 6:41:18 PM
i, too, buy records because they make me feel better than people who don't own records
