I built a nice, not extremely high-end but nice, PC early last year.

It has sat on the floor, turned off, since I finished installing it, while I continue to use my old computer, because I was too lazy to transfer my data and programs, and while the idea of a new computer sounded cool, I didn't actually *need* it.

i also got a desktop because my vaio laptop has seemed to be on the verge of death for a while.

it's still ticking, although the battery is fubar and the screen fucks up occasionally. but i don't wanna buy a new battery.
