I recorded "Gospel Saturday" at the Reno-Sharpe store in Bear Creek, Chatham County (it's the first Saturday of the month). I used a single condenser mic, and a cheap video camera (canon zr800).

I'm so pitiful, I look forward to this all month long.

The bass player (Russell Palmer) taught Charlie Daniels how to play guitar back in 1951. He played on stage with Daniels when he was inducted into the Grand Old Opry hall of fame. Now he owns a funeral home in Sanford.
