I would love to have a camera like that, however outside of work I would have no real use for it.

still playing with it, its pretty cool, it takes a ir/normal pic on one image and saves it as a jpeg, you can adjust the overlay, temp colors, emisivity, etc. after the fact with the software, as long as the picture isnt out of temp range, its hard to screw up in the fieldgotta go to thermography school in conneticut next month to learn how to use all this crap, i love it though, i do random training on so much stuff i feel like i'm on vacation half the time, hell at the roll maintenance class in ohio they put us up in a resort with an indoor water park and took us out charter fishing on lake erie
1/8/2009 1:29:38 PM
Are you trying out for Ghost Hunters?
1/8/2009 2:09:52 PM
meh... Someone else on tdub tried to show off last year with a similar camera that cost 45k, then pc magazine used it for a few of their tests and said the model they had was about 10-15k.
1/8/2009 2:16:05 PM
you obviously arent a thermal imagery guru
1/8/2009 2:17:33 PM
unless I can figure out a way to use it for my modeling shoots, have high resolution captures, and doesn't cost the same as mid range medium format digital camera, then no.
1/8/2009 2:21:11 PM
the base model on this one runs about $12k, the options we got ran about $26k, and they can easily run up to $35ka little step up is $texas$ on these things
