no, I'l stick with what I'm doing. I eat fruit, nuts and salads. I've also started taking energy pills and working out like crazy. But I don't think I can lose 15lbs. In my case it's the difference between being just cute and hott. I'm going for hott.

the plan is, walkin 2 miles every other day when i lift weights, and 4 miles in betweena slim fast for breakfast and lunch, and a small dinner, should be able to drop 10-15 pounds a month

If you weren't exercising previously, you should be able to drop 10 pounds in a month just by sticking to your workout plan and cutting back on your normal lunch.

^yeah walking is better than nothing but doesn't get your heart rate very high and thus doesn't do a ton for weight loss.Just make sure you're getting enough calories. You can do more harm than good by not eating enough and putting yourself in starvation response. I'm 5'11", 207 lbs, 21 years old; and my reccomended daily caloric intake (considering my physical activity) is ~ 3200 calories.

if you wanna get serious about weight loss, i could help out with suggestions/meal plans/routines etc....I've lost nearly 100lbs since 1/21/08(289-195)...you may need to be careful dropping 10-15lbs/month...it's gonna leave behind loose skin at that rate...if I could do it all over again, I'd lose the weight slower and just build more muscle first...I started off with a heavy calorie deficit like yours with some light cardio(30min LISS) and minimal weight lifting(MWF split)

if his goal is fat loss...walking is probably more efficient for losing fat than jogging/running. I'm unsure on his age, but I'm estimating if he keeps his heart rate between 120-140(power walking/light jogging) you'll burn more fat cals than carb cals...at above 140, your body will want an easier source for its fuel and will turn to carbs rather than fats for its primary fuel source....don't have any carbs in your system and you're in the 140+ BPM range? your body will break down its muscle....KETO ftw
