ok so no alcohol till later this week but the all day breakfast joint Flying Biscuit opened today in Cameron Village. I went and had breakfast this morning and it was great. It wasn't expensive, the food was really good, came out quick. It was just a nice little place, if you like breakfast food you should check it out.

Eggs, bacon, beer, internet access......

My roommate loves this place, we have at least one in Charlotte that she's told me about.

This sounds good, minus the onions:

Piedmont Omelette...
three large farm fresh eggs with chicken sausage, turkey bacon, sauteed onions & cheddar cheese.

7am!!

and LunaK, i think thats what I liked about it. I wasn't a greasy heart attack like waffle house but it wasn't organic, health nut either. It was more like a home cooked meal with good ingredients.

Are you aware that nearly every restaurant will add or substitute meats for any dish?
...or do you just dislike people who practice certain eating habits?

This sounds great!

i dont think they have a drink menu yet. I sat at the bar and the bartender told me that this was a bit new for them because none of thier restaurants serve drinks. The Cameron village store will be the first

They didn't have anything about substitutions on the menu and I didn't ask....

I believe that most any place welcomes substitutions, unless they alert customers to the contrary with signs or notes on the menus. You are really missing out. (Don't feel like you're being a pain... get your food the way you want it)

The address doesn't really help when you're talking about places that are off the street.

It's between Cameron Bar & Grill and Bargain Box.
