fucking 6th grade keyboarding

to pass you had to type a certain WPM using proper technique

i was like, "erm...i can type three times faster using four fingers and my thumb"

but that wasn't allowed

it was my first experience with stupid, counterproductive rules

hahaha

i guess it does read that way

index and middle on both hands, occasionally my right pinky, and my right thumb

left pinky anchors by holding on to shift and ctrl

Funny, they don't teach kids these days to point and click with the left hand while rubbing one out with the right.

Much more valuable skill than typing.

eventually you hit a ceiling typing that way, so at the time typing your way may have been faster but had you kept up with proper technique you would be a faster typer

i understand this to be true

but i'm not a typist

i'm a writer (sort of)

also, i edit as i go, so i never have much to type at one time and it's no big deal

i like those loud-ass keyboards that go CLICK CLICK CLICK when you type

you can be casually going only like 40 wpm and it still sounds like you're firing out a book
