And yes, we may have received less hate mail... but I bet the turnout would have been lower, too. Plus, I like hate mail. It makes me laugh, especially when they have no idea what they're talking about- one claimed that we were 'showing a movie that promoted promiscuity.' Needless to say... this wasn't a movie.

I have no problem with someone being promiscuous. To each their own.(And I question if there is really a clear-cut definition of promiscuity. For example, are people in polyamorous, but closed circle relationships promiscuous?)
