I have a 1997 Camry with 140k on it. It has started leaking oil like crazy the past few days so take it in and apparently the head gasket needs replacing, est. fix at $1500. I also need new rotors/pads and to replace the struts which would be about $1000.

KBB value on the car is only about $3k, so would you recommend buying a new car. Suggestions?

But a newer car, absolutely.
