The easiest best appetizer ever:


Get bacon
get water chestnuts (if you have money...shrimp/scallops will work as well)
soy sauce


Cut the bacon package in half. Wrap the half of strip around your choice above. Secure with toothpick. Douse generously with soy sauce. Broil until crisp.

An easy and awesome dessert which I make that get tons of compliments.

buy a prepared angel food cake
berries (pineapple is also a good choice)
pudding
jello that matches the taste of berries (ie strawberry jello if you bought strawberries)
cool whip

Rip apart angel food cake into big hunks.....put pudding (I usually buy the Kozy Shack) on it to get the bread kind of soggy). If you got pineapple this is where I stick it. Layer jello on top. Smear cool whip to cover. Sprinkle berries (I usually put stawberries, raspberries, and blueberries) on top.

Note: Strawberries are bogo at Harris Teeter this week
