race, the way people use it to describe perceived skin color, doesn't have a rigorous definition anyway. There's also no universally accepted scientific definition of race.

And "race" can in fact be modified by "human."

No, no it cannot.

Race is used to group species according to visible, hereditary characteristics. Again, to clarify, race is subordinate to a species and superordinate to a subrace

The issues is not so much that 2 humans mate and it produces another human. The issue of race addresses the asymmetrical relationship between members of the same species, thus how race is identifiable.

The only controversy in regard to race is between whether it is naturally, or socially constructed.

Eh, I dont particularly care if its socially constructed or not. I would lean more toward that being the case, but Im not a sociologist.
