why not just continue to develop the my topics page to allow for more customization?

one could add their favorite links, and have options like the weather or a list of "my peeps online", a google search bar, a wknc online link, etc

i'm sure there are many good idea which could be added to make this page rather useful

Thats actually a pretty good idea. I would probably go premium if there was like, one more feture

it wouldn't be my topics. I was thinking about doing the exact thing you are talking about for the front page. you could customize which modules that were visible

^Agreed. But if this idea turns out to be as good as Jake's and Joe's works in the past, I'd say it is definitely a big incentive to go premium.
