I have REALLY BAD heartburn right now. I'm out of TUMS and I let my friend borrow my car to move some shit, so I can't go to the store to buy more. HALP ME TWW

I don't know but we're getting Mexican for a work meeting this afternoon and I invariably get heartburn when I have Mexican

I stopped taking Tums cause I suspected they contributed to my kidney stones.

You're gonna wanna get someone to get you an OTC PPI is your best bet like Prilosec or Nexium. Just make sure you aren't taking any other shit that might interact with it.

If you take a lot of TUMS it can actually end up making it worse b/c of rebound hyperacidity. Nothing else around the house will really help.

Baking soda works wonders. And it's cheap. Milk also helps with very mild heartburn. Like, the kind college kids don't notice, but that keeps fogeys like djeternal awake at night.

I don't get heartburn a lot, but when I do, I like the cherry rolaids.

I took some baking soda and it is much better.

that was after the Milk of Magnesia had me pissing out of my asshole for about an hour

Once in a while probably won't hurt too badly. Just go extra easy on the sodium for a while.

It isn't that bad for me actually, I just cut out added salt. i can still eat foods with salt in them, but I try to keep to low-sodium stuff whenever possible
