I have the unfortunate responsibility of being the executer of my moms estate as she has recently passed. For anyone that has had to do this before, I have a specific question that I dont want to pose to the group. Send me an IM if you get a chance. Its not a question about who to deal with the estate, but rather a particular circumstance that I want to see how you resolved it (if you had to deal with it).

I have been appointed the executor of my grandmother's estate, but it has not gone through probate yet and nothing has been started, so unfortunately I probably wouldn't know the answer to your question. She owned a car from the 80's and a $50 savings bond. Not much paperwork to file I don't think
