Whats the status on this supposed "pink out" ? Is it happening? Is Athletics or Wolfpack Sports Marketing supporting this in any way? Do students actually think this is a good idea? Just curious, I just want to make sure so I show up saturday in the right color shirt.

look here, NC STATE. To have a successful color-out of any kind on any given day, you should PROVIDE SHIRTS.

I know it's not providing shirts, but anyone can take a white shirt to the Brickyard tomorrow and Friday between 11 & 3 and SG will dye it pink. I got an email about it.

Seriously though, this is NC State. We are going to half-ass it by just barely mentioning it, but no official announcement to get people to wear pink. Free shirts? Youre crazy...NC State aint paying for 20k shirts to honor anybody, not even Kay Yow. Other schools might do that just for the hell of it and its the only way to actually pull one off that doesnt look like a joke, but giving anything away more expensive than thundersticks or draw-string bags is crazy talk in these parts.
